  • CalendrierZL

    CalendrierZL fut programmé à la demande d'enseignants du préscolaire. Il permet de créer un calendrier mensuel et d'y ajouter des icônes (ou images) et des textes. Vous pouvez, par exemple, faire noter aux enfants la météo du jour et la reporter sous forme d'icônes sur le calendrier. Vous devinez qu'il peut servir à bien d'autres choses et à d'autres niveaux que le préscolaire. On peut configurer les couleurs de mois, des jours et du chiffre du jour. Un arrière-plan peut s'ajouter sous forme d'images ou d'une couleur uni.

    Claroline is an Open Source software based on PHP/MySQL. It's a collaborative e-learning environment allowing teachers or education institutions to create and manage online courses. Claroline comes with a lot of tools from forums to document repositories.

  • LANGblog

    LANGblog: Audioblog for practising orals skills, with posts and replies on audio and video. Adapted from Wordpressmu blog, audio and video posts are directly created online by means of Flash, with no program installation required. It also features RSS compatible podcast. Check out the info below for installation and use.

  • Space for Kids

    A childfriendly Learning Management System build on moodle, but extemely themed and including some new modules and hacks to facilitate children's appropiation of the tool. At this early stage of development we are rethinking moodle, using courses as community spaces where kids are driven by Educators, but not necessarily evaluated or controled. A recreational spirit is capital to achieve our goals. This project is now through a conceptualization phase.

    CryptoCD is a collection of high quality software that provides secure communications on the Internet.

    The programs run on Linux, Windows and Mac OS and includes the areas of e-mail encryption, secure chat and anonymous web browsing. CryptoCD contains extensive documentation, step by step installation and user guide aimed at novice users.

  • DART System: Data Analysis and Reporting Toolkit

    Key features that make DART different include the ability of the system to "cloud tag" the standards of highest need in any grouping into "weighted lists" linked to resources, ability to interact with SIS and LMS systems, flexible reporting and the ability to add features in Open Source modules. There are five additional modules for special functions being planned or built now.  The DART system will be modified this fall to "talk" to the distric's ePortfolio system (Elgg) and LMS (Moodle), in addition to the district's curriclum wiki.

    ATutor is an Open Source Web-based Learning Content Management System (LCMS/LMS) and social networking environment designed with accessibility and adaptability in mind. Administrators can install or update ATutor in minutes, develop custom themes to give ATutor a new look, and easily extend its functionality with feature modules. Educators can quickly assemble, package, and redistribute Web-based instructional content, easily import prepackaged content, and conduct their courses online. Students learn in an adaptive, social learning environment.

    SUMA aims to develop a system integrating e-learning services through well-known standards, allowing a seamsless implementation of new tools and services in order to meet the current needs of both academic and business realms. SUMA would also like to ease the integration of already existing structures in these realms, and the interoperation of these and the e-learning system.

  • PHP Webquest

    PHP Webquest is a Webquest Generator that allows teachers to create webquests without the need of writing any HTML code or using web page editors. The program supports images uploading, and resizes images is neccesary. A HTML editor is provided in order to format the texts for the pages.
